All car parks at Shannon International Airport (SNN) are operated by Shannon Airport Authority. Both the short-term and long-term parking areas are regularly patrolled by the Airport Police. The airport has more than 4,000 car park spaces.

Frequent users cards are available, which are valid for one year, and can be purchased from Terminal Services (tel: +353 061 712 200).

Short Term

The area directly outside the terminal building is for dropping-off and picking-up passengers only and is not for parking purposes. Short-stay parking is available for up to 24 hours and is located opposite the terminal building. When leaving your vehicle, please make a note of which designated area your vehicle is located in. Parking rates are inclusive of VAT.

Long Term

Shannon International Airport (SNN) has three areas designated for long-stay parking, with a combined total of 3,000 spaces. The largest car park is located at the rear of the short-stay parking area, while another long-stay car park is located to the left of the Departures Hall.

The third long-stay parking area is located on the approach road to the airport. However, this is only used when there is congestion in the other two long-stay designated parking areas. Visitors will be notified when this parking area is in operation by an electronic sign on the approach. Passengers using this car park are directed to the Park 'n' Ride service that operates to and from the main terminal building. Parking here is inclusive of VAT.
